Position: Cipla is recruiting for a Hospital Business Manager position in Kolkata, India.
Qualification& Experience: The ideal candidate should have a B.Sc or B.Pharma degree and at least 4-8 years of experience.

Job description:
The job posting is looking for a Hospital Business Manager with at least 4 years of experience in Government Institutional Sales from the pharmaceutical industry.
Responsibilities: The primary responsibility of the role is to develop a strategic plan for institutional sales in the reimbursement accounts for the region, taking a short, mid, and long-term view of the business.
The key responsibilities of the Hospital Business Manager include developing and maintaining effective relationships with national, regional or local bodies, government officials, and other key stakeholders and decision-making authorities within prioritized accounts. The role requires conducting sales analytics for the entire region for reimbursement institutional sales to help draw out trends that impact future business plans and provide inputs to the business manager for driving growth.
The Hospital Business Manager is also expected to track tenders released by reimbursement accounts and collaborate with institutional teammates to respond in a timely manner. They should stay updated about changes in terms and conditions, criteria for selection of products, and competitor mapping with public bodies like Health Ministry – Secretary and Joint Secretary (Health), CGHS Directorate, Board Members of Railways, Director-General Armed Force Medical Store, Medical Commissioner, ESIS, and international agencies helping state-wise purchase.
Finally, the Hospital Business Manager will need to coordinate with the distribution team to ensure the availability of products as per the account plans.
